Do I Have IC?

A simple questionnaire helps us find out whether you may have IC.  We call it the PUF, for Pelvic Pain and Urgency/Frequency, which are three symptoms of IC.

It will take about 5 minutes to answer the questions on the PUF and add up your score.  Your score will be a number between 0 and 35.

• If your PUF score is 5 or higher, and your symptoms are bothering you, we suggest that you make an appointment with your primary care doctor or your urologist to talk about IC. 

• If your score is lower than 5 but you think you may have IC and your symptoms are bothering you, you may want to visit your doctor to talk about your concerns.
